Timber warehouse

This project introduces a large-scale canopy built entirely with a timber structural system, showcasing the potential of renewable materials in creating durable and architecturally expressive solutions. With a total built-up area of 1,200 m², the canopy combines functional coverage with sustainable construction principles, offering both environmental responsibility and contemporary design value.

The project was initiated in 2024, with a strong focus on life-cycle assessment to ensure minimal environmental impact throughout its lifespan. CO2 ZERO provided LCA assessment and project management, while the structural design was developed by SIA Building Construction Design. Construction is carried out by SIA Mikrominimus, ensuring precise realization of the timber-based concept.

Completed in 2025, the canopy project stands as an example of how timber engineering can be applied on a larger scale, merging sustainability, technical innovation, and architectural ambition.
